GENRES
CNF pieces, unsent letters—or sent letters, if the other side of the exchange is comfortable with that, fiction, essays, and poetry. These are not strict guidelines.
- For CNF, letters, essays, and fiction, a very flexible maximum of 2000 words. For poetry, a very flexible maximum of 35 lines. Please upload your plain text document as a .DOCX or .DOC file.
VISUAL ART SUBMISSIONS
Think graphite and charcoal, thick lines and emotion. Doodles on the back of receipts, in the corners of notebooks, quick sketches on the bus. Anything created on physical paper (scans of letters, sticky notes, physical collages, etc.).
- Please scan and upload any visual submissions as .PDF or .PNG files. Most scanners will format your file as .PDF automatically.
